Blend – Chardonnay 100%
Colour: Bright straw colour with a golden hue.
Aromatics: Aromas of fresh citrus and nectarine with subtle vanillin oak and brioche.
Palate: Lemon meringue, cashew and nectarine flavours and hints of nuttiness and vanillin balanced with natural acidity. An elegant mineral finish.
Oak Maturation – 100% barrel fermented in 25% new French oak barrels.
Ageing Potential: 5-8 years
VINTAGE 2019 Consistent rain throughout Winter and Spring leading up to the 2019 vintage has allowed for even healthy growth. Fruit set was moderate which lead to less than average yields across all varieties. A cool summer gave the vines a long ripening period, as a result our Whites are crisp and vibrant with concentrated flavours and the Reds are elegant and flavoursome with fine tannins.
