COLOUR – Dark red.
AROMATICS – Black currant and chocolate.
PALATE – Flavours of currants, chocolate and blueberry supported by fine dusty tannins on a long finish.
OAK MATURATION – 30% new French Oak for 16 months.
VINTAGE 2018 – Good rain event in winter and spring allowed strong growth. Summer temperatures were mild, with cool evenings ensuring even ripening across all varieties, resulting in excellent yields with grapes displaying concentrated flavours across all varieties.
