Blend – Merlot 100%
Colour: Deep burgundy with a brick red hue.
Aromatics: Soft aromas of red berries and savoury spice.
Palate: Long, fruit-driven flavours of striking dark berry flavours that linger on the palate and are supported by fine oak tannins to add structure.
Oak Maturation: 25% new French oak for 15 months.
VINTAGE 2020 – Consistent rain throughout Winter and Spring leading up to the 2020 vintage has allowed for even healthy growth. Fruit set was low which lead to less than average yields across all varieties. A cool summer gave the vines a long ripening period, as a result our Whites are crisp and vibrant with concentrated flavours and the Reds are elegant and flavoursome with fine tannins.
